Proposed Hong Kong Science and History Museum Redevelopment
The History Museum and the adjoining Science Museum together form a museum complex in late 20th Century. To crown it off the roof of the new annex building will form a focal point for the whole complex. A glass pavilion supported by fabricated steel framework resonances similar accent as the new façade. The application of geometry offers tangible and rational aspect of science, whilst the fluidity of human circulation and flowing water within and around the pavilion suggests the intimacy between human and visceral history.
